Usually, a dollar sign ($) is fine dollars, but if you’re speaking to a more global audience or if there’s room for confusion add US$ or USD .

No need to include .00 to the amount—$33 not $33.00.

Cents (and pence) should be 70 cents and 70p. Not 0.70 cents or 0.07p.

Ranges should be $6,000–$7,000 (not $6,000–$7,000).

When talking euros, use the symbol rather than writing the word out in full. So it’s €540, not 540 euros.
